Judgement Rites and 25th Anniversary

Odd question, any TOS books that have the same narrative type stories as these old CD Rom Games? The writing was so great in them, would like books that are similar.

As I lover interactions between different tie-in media, this is a great question. Unfortunately, I never owned those CD-Roms nor played the games, so I don't know.

The games are on Steam, cheap and compatible with modern computers, and I belive have a PDF link for the manual.

EDIT: Never mind, my brain mixed "manual" with "guide"

That's an interesting perspective to try and consider. I think "The Captain's Oath" might be one to look at, there's a good section of the novel consisting of short, episodic-but-somewhat-linked adventures that's similar to the structure of those two games.

I'm not sure about the JR guidebook. I had the one for 25th Anniversary, and while it included "narrative" walkthroughs of each level, as I recall, they were very dry, not like, say, the pseudo-novelizations you'd get from a Rick Barba strategy guide.
