Journey's End with the Eleventh Doctor

Mr. Sin

Commander
Let's say that the Doctor *did* regenerate for real, how would the Eleventh Doctor have handled the situation with Davros, the Daleks, Rose (Especially without the 'hand' duplicate) etc? Would he have continued to travel with Donna, maybe?

The Eleventh Doctor did after all recover fairly quickly from his regeneration, without having to really rest or anything. Then again, we could've ended up with an entirely different eleventh Doctor as well...

I think he would have been a bit scatterbrained at first, trying to get a hold of his emotions and memories. I don't think it would have been until he was in Davros' lair that he would have himself altogether like he was near the end of the Eleventh Hour and stare down Davros and the Daleks. After the battle with Davros, the Eleventh Doctor would have said goodbye to Rose and let Donna stay with him but he would given her the option to leave, having Davros' words about how he turned his companions into soldiers capable of killing and destruction ringing in his head. Donna would of course decline.

^ This suggests that Donna won't still become the Doctor Donna or that the Meta-Crisis didn't occur. I think that the scene between Rose and the Eleventh Doctor along with the Meta Doctor would have played out quite differently obviously. If Donna didn't experience the meta-crisis and remained human and there weren't plans to introduce a new companion for series five (the specials would not have occurred with the Eleventh Doctor because there would be no need for them we would just jump right into series five).
