The comedian died last night of natural causes. He was 87.

Aw, man! Another one of my cherished childhood icons gone.

Rest in peace, Jonathan. :(

R.I.P. Mr. Winters. I can't count how many times you had me laughing my head off over the years.

:( I just saw It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World recently too.

Definitely from his younger days, but fun nonetheless.

It's hard to remember how many things I've seen him in, movies & TV. As the son of Mork & Mindy was memorable for me.

R.I.P.

He was one of the few guests on the Johnny Carson version of Th e Tonight Show, who could consistently get Carson to lose it just about every time. Like Robin Williams but less manic

Farewell and all our love, Maude Frickert. Thanks for making the world just a little bit better.

It's always sad when somebody dies, but it just seems more poignant when that person brought us so much laughter. And so effortlessly. He was the embodiment of humor, a genuinely funny person.

RIP, Jonathan Winters. Thanks for the smiles.

I think I first became aware of Jonathan in 1963, when I saw "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World" in Cinerama. A very cool guy. He had a comedy-variety show series in the late 60s and an aging Boris Karloff showed up for the Halloween show in one of his last appearances.
