JJ-isms in TFA [Possible spoilers]

It seemed to me that Rey was either oblivious or disinterested in Finn, while Finn was crushing on her pretty hard at least in part due to her being the first girl/woman his adolescent-level emotional self had ever been allowed an opportunity to bond with. With her gone for Luke, I think it will be the next female lead we're introduced to that is his long-term romantic interest.

I don't know if it was just coincidence or an actual JJ-ism, but:

In Star Wars: The Force Awakens: Both Rey and Finn simultaneously state to themselves "I can do this. I can do this" when they man certain areas of the Millenium Falcon.

In Star Trek 2009: Chekov states to himself, but in ear-range of others "I can do that! I can do that!" when there is an issue trying to transport moving people (i.e. Kirk and Sulu).
