Bit disturbing, all the Facebook friends this jerk has.
I guess there are lots of people who think it is okay to just go apeshit on customers and steal beer and all that crap.
I mean, come on. We all have to deal with bad customers. It is because WE HAVE TO. It's our JOBS. We don't have the luxury of a temper tantrum. And no matter how much of a jackass the customer might be, it doesn't give us the right to unload on them. What if Slater had hit the passenger? Should he have been allowed to do that too?![]()
Oh be quiet.
It's not our job to take shit from customers. No one should have to put up with that kind of crap. No, throwing a temper-tantrum isn't the best, or most adult, way to handle things but at the same time all of us who work in this industry have those fantasies where we imagine unloading on the asshole customer who takes the whole "customer is always right" thing way more seriously than the guy who first said even intended.
This guy did something we all want to do, tell off shitty customers in a blaze of glory and piss off the job. Being a customer doesn't give you the right to be an asshole.
I had a customer nearly hit me with his cane because my warehouse was out of a product he wanted. But I guess he's the customer, he's always right and should've just sucked it up and taken it. Whatever. Just because I'm at work doesn't mean I have to take shit like that and don't have the right to be made and upset by it. I am, afterall, a human being.
And, since you bring up, this guy was the one injured in this altercation. Injured by the customer, infact.
But, I guess he's being paid to take that kind of shit and should've just sucked it up, right?
