Jeri Ryan on NCIS.

JanewayRulz!

Vice Admiral
Admiral
You know what this means, right?

Leroy Jethro Gibbs has a BORG obsession. He's married one (Seven of Nine), and had a serious ongoing relationship with another (The BORG Queen, AKA Colonel Mann)

I was against Jeri's casting as the last unseen exwife of LJG based on hair color alone. I dropped that complaint when I saw they tinted her hair to the ginger range.

I was also happy to see they didn't kill her in the end, although they should have for cheating on Gibbs with that dweeb!

Its always nice to see a Voyager again, even in a different show.

Anyone else catch it last night?

I haven't watched NCIS in a while but will check out the JR EPs. I wish they would get her on TBBT! Jeri interacting with Sheldon would be AWESOME! :D

Jeri Ryan is stalking me!

First she was on Voyager, replacing my favorite character.

Since the start of this series, NCIS has been my absolute favorite series. Now she will show up there too!

But if this is some punisment for me because I once was so hostile to the character Seven Of Nine, then I probably deserve it!

I actually look forward to see her on NCIS. Is she going to be another ex-wife of Gibbs. Now, that's interesting.

I loved seeing her on NCIS! I was shocked they killed off Diane; but it made me wonder if because of that, Jeri Ryan will step into the recurring ex-wife role. I would really like to see that.

Also looking forward to Ziva coming back, if Sergei is opening that up again. Diane was killed like Kate; and Ziva's brother Ari killed Kate. Then of course, Ziva had to kill Ari to defend Gibbs. Sergei was said to have a Palestinian mother, as did Ari; maybe they were half brothers and that is what the revenge is hanging on.

Gah...Why are TV bumpers still lousy? I've seen impeccable editing from Voyager fans! Give them a dream job so these suck less.

Jeri, I was wondering the same thing about Jeri.

Mrs. Silvercrest caught the similarity to Jenny's death instantly, long before the characters did. I also recognized the Mike Franks setup. At that point I predicted a replay of Kate's death in some fashion. So it was depressing but not a total surprise.

NCIS must like sci fi. I have seen Mira Furlan and Claudia Christen both on there. Now NCIS: New Orleans has Scott Bakula from Enterprise and Quantum Leap and Zoe McLellan is the actress who portrayed Crewman Tal Celes in the Star Trek: Voyager. Plus CCH Pounder from Warehouse 13.

Silvercrest, I'm thinking Bishop might have been more analogous to Kate; Diane was a recurring character, even though amazing and hilarious. So I wasn't expecting her to be the one; Bishop doesn't have as much history with Gibbs as Diane does, though. And they just got Bishop. However, they did have Diane in the episode for a reason. It made me wonder if she wanted out of her recurring duties to do something else. She used to portray Dana Sculley's sister on X-Files; she took a bullet off the show for Dana, too, LOL.

delenn13, NCIS does like sci-fi; besides Gibbs's ex-wife as Dana Sculley's sister on X-Files, Marina Sirtis is also now head of Mossad.

Tried to find another clip of Jeri on NCIS, instead I found Jeri's ice bucket challengers and challenge.

RDM challenging Jeri.

I couldn't find a clip of Frakes accepting Jeri's challenge, but I loved this one of Patrick Stewart.

While she's had a fairly solid television career in all these years since Voyager's end, she was kinda wasted really, she turned up in a couple of rubbish TV movies, and broadcast television in the US has really been dying on its arse in the past half decade.

Getting a reoccurring role on the still pretty successful and moderately entertaining but thoroughly formulaic NCIS is OK-ish but not excellent, but it's not infeasible that Jeri could land a role in a break out series on Amazon/Hulu/Netflix in the near(ish) future (and she was a candidate for Desperate Housewives some years back).
