Jack Larson, Jimmy Olsen on First Superman TV Show, Dies at 87

He had a good run. R.I.P., Mr. Larson.

He always seemed like a good person. He waffled on his thought about Reeves' death (I recall him saying he was at the scene in the hours after), but he always had kind things to say of all of his AOS co-stars.

Damn. I'm doing a re-watch of my DVD sets of The Adventures of Superman right now, and just yesterday, when watching an episode, I was thinking about the cast, and how nice it is that Noel Neil and Jack Larson were still alive and well decades after John Hamilton and George Reeves had passed on. Another little bit of irony was that in the episode I watched yesterday, Superman saved Jimmy from being killed when the man who tied him up and locked him in a coffin shot at it, and Superman burst out.

I actually just started watching The Adventures of Superman earlier this year. Very sad news.

I've been rewatching the show lately as well, and couldn't help but love his performance and great comic timing.

And he always seemed really nice and gracious in interviews later on as well.
