The newest round of invasion has been going on for ten months, so plenty of time to incorporate a rewrite. Not to mention nine years since the annexation of Crimea and the original foray into Eastern Ukraine along with the support of the Donbas separatists, so it's been a long road, getting from there to here.

Looks like it was filmed summer/fall of 2021……so probably written in 2020. Well done.

Slow day at work and I finished it……not bad. Kept me entertained…..just wish they would pronounce Ramstein AB correctly. Hollywood never says it right…..lol.

I quite enjoyed it, really good. I liked this season they just said "screw it" and had the Russians and other foreign characters speaking English a majority of the time. It got a little annoying always reading subtitles for vast swaths of episodes in the first two seasons.

As mentioned, it's not impossible there could have been last minute rewrites to reflect the times, it should also be noted there have been a lot of military thriller novels released in recent years that have depicted Russia attacking Ukraine, including at least one released last year just a few months after the war started in the real world.

It’s not a genre I usually read, having been in the field for 30 years or so………normally it bugs me seeing just how silly and wrong they get things…..but overall this was done well.
