For Star Trek fans, Jack is known for portraying Romulan Sub-Commander Tal on Star Trek: The Original Series and later played a Vulcan priest in the Star Trek: Enterprise. Other television shows he has guest-starred in include The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Mission: Impossible, Kojak, Frasier, Charmed, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Malcolm in the Middle and Roswell, and he was also an acting teacher. Jack enjoyed attending our events and always lovingly spoke of the time he spent with his fans.

I always thought he was a scary looking Romulan in the episode, backed up by that weird music and his features rippling into view later on! RIP :vulcan:

Jack Donner graciously reprised his role as Sub-Commander Tal for the 50th TOS anniversary episode of the fan-produced audio drama "Tomorrow's Enterprise". By all accounts he was fun to work with and he did a great job. One of his acting students was Craig T. Nelson. After a serious illness in the mid 70s he went back to school and become a psychologist. It was a full life, well lived.
