J.T. Tepnapa who played Sulu directing Caprica actor in indie scifi

"Caprica" guest star Richard Harmon

Harmon, who played Heracles in a three-episode stint on Syfy's "Battlestar Galactica" spinoff last month, has been cast in the independent film "Judas Kiss,"

The film, which is scheduled to be shot in late summer in Seattle, is directed by J.T. Tepnapa and written by Carlos Pedraza.

It is being produced by Blue Seraph Productions, which is run by Tepnapa and Pedraza.

"Judas Kiss" will be Tepnapa's first feature film.

Tepnapa is an actor and a director, probably best known to genre fans in his stint playing Hikaru Sulu in the fan-produced "Star Trek: New Voyages".

He was Sulu? I suppose I need to catch up with New Voyages. I just knew him as Corey Aster.

J.T. plays Sulu in our yet-to-be-released episodes "Enemy: Starfleet!" and "The Child." (He actually has a brief, no-dialogue scene at the begining of "Blood and Fire, Part Two." Don't blink or you'll miss him.)
