IYHO, does a T’Pol cameo in Star Trek XIV make sense?

TBF, if the crew would visit New Vulcan once in the movies, we could see if they built a monument to honour her if she did in fact die during Nero’s attack.
Vulcans are always doing non vulcan stuff but setting up a statue to a former member of the Vulcan and Earth services because she was one among billions of dead people seems a bit out of focus. Needs of the many, etc

That assumes her career was unremarkable post Enterprise.

Would Blalock need to be cast as T'Pol though?
Why not cast someone else as T'Pol if Blalock wouldn't go for it?

I mean, sure, it would be nice to have Blalock reprise her role as I actually liked T'Pol, but if she's retired and doesn't wish to do it, then nothing stops them from casting someone else and maybe even use CGI to alter the face and age her so she looks reasonably convincing.

Of course recasting has been a thing for a long time, but if they're going to bring back T'Pol for a cameo and not get the original actress, what's the point?

And yes, we all know Blalock is retired from acting, but I think she could be persuaded to return if she liked the script. Hey, if they can get Robert Beltran back for Prodigy...

Which probably was not the case.

To put it another way, ENT, 16 years after it went off the air, is nowhere near as iconic as TNG or TOS. It's had a few callbacks in the Kelvin films early on (the Beagle, the model of the NX-1, etc) because it was the last thing shown most likely, but even Abrams didn't try to necromance anyone's career from that series.
Given the huge number of ENTERPRISE references in Beyond, I assume one of the makers if not many are fans.
There's also the fact that out of all the series up to that point, ENT was the only one that survived the transition into the Kelvin Timeline, being that it took place pre-2233. So Enterprise was the only Star Trek series Beyond could follow-up on, by default, if it wanted to build upon anything besides the Kelvin Films.
