That and the doctor did a bad job listening to his patient when she said "How big is she? Should we do something?" Then he goes on vacation and we see the fill-in who immediately orders an ultrasound that puts her at 11lbs 12oz so we have to have a C-section.

My wife's full name is Milagrosa. I believe that comes from spanish. But my wife is Filipina. The national language of teh Philippines is Tagalog. Since the Spanish controlled the Philippines for about 300 years many spanish words and names made their way into Tagalog.

So the name Mhilette would be a "variation on a borrowed Spanish name."
