I watched five seconds of it until I was laughing so hard I had to turn it off.

For the record, "Turkish Star Wars" is actually Dünyayı Kurtaran Adam (The Man Who Saves the World). It's not actually supposed to be a rip-off of Star Wars in terms of plot etc, it just uses a lot of ripped-off special effects footage and music from Star Wars, Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica and Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Turist Ömer Uzay Yolunda (Ömer the Tourist in Star Trek), on the other hand, is an intentionally comedic remake of "The Man Trap" where the Enterprise accidentally picks up a recurring comedy character who had previously appeared in several other films.

Well, hum, yeah. Rife with offensive stereotypes and ethnic slurs, but if one makes an effort to look beyond that, I suppose it's quite funny. We have enough problems averting common stereotyping without this kind of jokes, but I suppose it's not actually overstepping the mark. We can laugh at ourself. And I will be the first to admit that Italian copycat movies from the Seventies were actually very embarrassing by themselves. 
I'm willing to bet even those raised on Turkish Star Wars were disappointed with the prequels.
That was quite bizarre. I really have no idea what to think from it.
I only watched Episode 1 of "Italian Spiderman", but I noticed something about the set, which is most apparent right after "Spiderman" opens up with the shotgun. Pay close attention to the style and placement of floating staircase.

Does the exclamation "Marsha, Marsha, Marsha!" mean anything to you?
Cause to my eyes it's the freakin' Brady Bunch House! I'm not saying it's the very same set, (It isn't on the right continent to be the original) but someone has clearly cribbed the design of Mike Brady's masterpiece and made a cheap European knock-off. About the only thing missing is the terra cotta horse.

I just stopped by the Alrugo website http://alrugo.com and various other places around the web, and it's now apparent to me that the "Italian Spiderman" is a modern parody of 70's Italian films. Boy, do I feel gullible.
