I wouldn't do a damn thing on 9-11. They would think I'm nuts or that I was also planning it. I would go back in time to October 2000 and tell Al Gore what will happen in November.

But wouldn't that actually be a fine price to pay when you could save more than 3000 lives?

Possibly even more than 100,000 lives, since without 9/11 (or rather with the Twin Towers still standing) there'd probably be no war in Afghanistan and Irak.

Stopping one of the planes that went into the towers, however, would be a good thing. I think I can manage to do it myself.

'Course, that would depend on if a freshman in high school (what I physically would be) on the other side of the country would be able to secure transport to Boston from 100 miles north of SMF on a school day.

That would postpone it, anyway.

I think I'd take a but if an opposite approach here and instead of stopping the flight, would call at 620 AM and tell the Port Authority and DC police departments that there will be an explosion on the correct floor/wing of the two WTC towers, and the Pentagon. I'd also tell them that there were bombs in WTC 5 and 7 and identify myself as an al Queada operative.

Wow. I really stuck my foot in my mouth this time. I apologize to anyone that was offended by my comment. I have a tendency to just spout off something at the tip of the hat in any given situation. Usually they are funny or insightful but I do miss the mark sometimes. I do not usually post those type of comments because what is funny in the moment with certain body language, voice and other mannerisms is not transferable to the written word. This time however I did post such a comment and boy did I miss the mark on this one in every way imaginable.
I completely misread and misunderstood the scenario and question that the original post asked. So my already foot in mouth answer was made even worse by having nothing to do with what the OP was asking. Once again I do apologize for the comment. I will now bow out of this thread before I derail it any further.
