And I doubt LucasFilm or Disney is doing damage control.

If you have an Android phone and Google, do some web searching. You'll get instant notifications from the future from movie-related news sites showing articles of potential interest based on your history. Even any old Windows desktop with Google will do. I made the error in assuming everyone here was a big fan, not casual viewer, and also used Google or kept up with these spoilers of photos and leaked empty fluff.

Now, I liked the direction of TLJ but I agree with the vlogger on this issue. And I suspect that Marc would, in 1980, feel the same about TESB for mostly the same reasons, he still puts up an interesting point that not all who hate the direction of a series are doing so because they're ___ist or ___ic by default.

The first legit photo leaks came out 3 days ago, a day after your post that I responded to.
They've also been linked to in the dedicated XI thread and I follow a subreddit that is dedicated to Star Wars Leaks.

I still don't understand what you mean by damage control. I'm not seeing anything like that.

Back when we weren’t sure what Ahsoka’s situation was in Rebels, I used to amuse myself imagining that she was a Force Ghost making an unending mission of haunting and annoying Anakin into redemption.

I mean, it explains why he’s so uncharacteristically snippy at the start of ANH! And his about-face between ROTJ and ESB (both the fatalistic plunge his goals take between the two, and his eventual redemption) make so much more sense! A nattery ghost was chipping away at him the entire time.

Nah, Jar-Jar already had the ghost thing covered.
