Is Torchwood a Good Blind Buy?

I'm going to go ahead and Blind Buy it. Thanks to all for your input, and with that out of the way, please continue to bash/discuss/and critique each series and episode. :)

ha ha

Be sure to let us know what you think of it! The last thing I'd say is don't give up on it, because as awful as you might think it is, it does get a lot better :techman:

I will. I really appreciate everyone's input, so I hope my tongue-in-cheek remark isn't misinterpreted.

even in the 2nd half of the first series you get some good episodes.

Meanwhile S1 Ghost Machine is maybe my favourite non Children of Earth Torchwood episode.

Ghost in the Machine is probably the best Series 1 episode, not perfect but it kinda showed what the series could do.

Weirdly I have a lot of time for Countrycide, if only because...

unlike Who it actually dared to have an episode that didn't feature and alien threat!

Torchwood is like finding a $100 bill as you're walking down the street. As you bend over to pick it up, someone runs behind you and kicks you, hard, squarely in the junk with a steel-toed boot.

As you stumble around, half-blind and vomiting from the pain, the asshole then takes the $100 bill.

That's Torchwood.
