If Spock is Obama - a biracial nerd cum hero, then is Nero George W. Bush?
Seriously, Nero is a guy who's dealing with a tragic situation (911) in a reactionary (War on Terror) and arbitrary (Iraq War) way. He not very bright and tries to seem as blue collar as possible. I mean, what other super villain in history has started a conversation with "Hi, Christopher, I'm Nero." Just add a Texas accent to that and who does it sound like?
And then, isn't it only fitting that Nero is blasted into little bits to be sucked into a hole never to be seen again while screaming simple mind epithets? It's totally a goodbye to a decade of neocon bull headedness. At least to me.
