Is it Snoopy Trek day again already?

I remember 'Robotman' used to do occasionally parodies of whole Star Trek storylines, but with the protagonists replaced with anthropomorphic cats instead of humans.

In particular I remember a week of strips parodying "The Deadly Years", with the ultimate punchline on the Friday being the modern day Bill Shatner trying to wrestle the cure to aging from the anthropomorphic cat Kirk. :D

The 1970's strip "Funky Winkerbean" written by Tom Batiuk had a long-running gag related to STAR TREK. The school's computer would refuse to co-operate with the principal unless the principal dressed in a Starfleet uniform and spoke in Star Trek protocol. Funky's high school even hosted a STAR TREK convention circa 1980.
