Is it impossible to get an autograph from Jennifer Lien?

I doubt she'll be attending any Star Trek conventions in the near future, if that's what you're so tastelessly asking.

Why do you want to know? When you made this post, and hit send, what was going through your mind at that moment? I'm legitimately curious.

No, she is not in jail.
But for now she doesn't do conventions and such so it can be difficult to get an autograph from her.

Well, the best solution would be to ask to Lien's known agency (Talent Agency in California) if the actress is still among the actors/actresses who are taken in charge, wouldn't it?
(That's being said, I think that she had distanced - wittingly or unwittingly - from the showbizness for awhile).

Wow. I'd definitely leave her alone. She hasn't been active in the show business in ages so I'm not sure she's affiliated with any agencies within the industry.

I wonder if she would actually like it if someone asked her nicely for a autograph. I would be to nervous myself out of fear of offending her when she really needs help but the idea that people still care or interested in something you contributed to and is as big as Star Trek might be better received than we think.

Going through her agent or someone else before asking first makes way more sense though than just showing up to some place she is at with pen and paper and asking her to sign your stuff for you. Which always felt to me like a kind of rude thing to do to people even without the issues she had had to deal with.

I'm legitimately curious.
A few years ago there was a long running thread here discussing Lien's psychological and legal problems, and whether her actions might result in prosecution.

What do you find so odd that someone might inquire as to whether she was currently in jail? The actors personal lives are often the subject of inquiry here.

Nimoy's health problems?

Shatner's wife drowning?

When does it become a taboo subject?

Here's hoping she turns her life around and doing the odd convention would help her have a modest enough income to support her. I met her once at a Vegas convention and she was very nice.

I think that the best is to leave Jennifer alone until she decides to do a convention again.
