Is Eli Stone coming back?

I really love this quirky show and watched the finale last night. It has fun characters, trippy plots(for a courtroom "drama") and the actors look like they really enjoy what they are doing. I've meandered around the Internet but can find nothing on whether or not it is being picked up for a 2cnd season.

Anybody know anything? Expiring minds want to know.

The good news: Following Desperate Housewives, it scored its highest ratings since its premiere. Even more importantly, ABC loves it!
The bad news: Eli needs to hang onto the extra viewers it gleaned from Desperate when it returns to its regular Thursday time slot tonight.

I enjoyed the show, too (though I missed a few episodes). It really didn't feel like a 10 PM show to me, either. I guess ABC didn't really have much of a choice for lead-ins, though, what with the strike and all.
