Irvin Kershner has passed away

I haven't seen a thread on this, so apologies if I simply missed it.

Irvin Kershner, best known for directing The Empire Strikes Back, passed away on Saturday at the age of 87 after a long illness.

He also directed Robocop 2, Never Say Never Again, The Eyes Of Laura Mars and episodes of Seaquest DSV and Amazing Stories.
