BBC Radio 3's The Verb is doing a special Christmas live show this year with a time travel theme -- and Katy Manning performing as Iris Wildthyme.
If you're in Salford, it happens on December 19th.
Join Ian McMillan and poet Hollie McNish for an 'out of this world' Christmas. They're joined by writer Paul Magrs and actress Katy Manning who will celebrate the festive season in Whovian fashion.
Katy is well loved for her 1970s role as Jo Grant, Jon Pertwee's time-travelling companion in Doctor Who. For The Christmas Verb she'll be playing another time-lord, Iris Wildthyme, in a specially commissioned adventure.
There's also frostily festive, linguistically limber hip-hop improvisation from Abandoman -- who call themselves 'Ireland's seventh biggest rap act (out of nine)'.
Verb New Voice Laura Potts will write us into deep winter with brand new poetry, and Hollie McNish gives us a spoken word take on the Yuletide season.
The Verb -- like the Tardis -- always bigger on the inside.
If you're in Salford, it happens on December 19th.
