Dude, everyone knows if you want to really increase your fleet's power potential, the best way to go is more like 6 to 8 x 2-4 with your formation, but only using 60% of your fleet.
It depends on what you want to do. If you just want to be big and intimidate the Klingons, then 10x10 formation works great. But if you want your fleet to be able to move with some serious speed and power, to be FUNCTIONAL you have to use something like an 8X3 formation with 45-65% of your full fleet.

Well, in that case I would recommend a 5/3/1 formation. You'll use 80+% of your fleet during your first three attacks, and then you deload the attack the fourth week to avoid fatiguing your pilots and draining your CNS fuel reserves.
I'm not familiar with that show. Is it part of Star Trek canon?
