Interesting Law School Event

Very cool. The cryptic is pretty funny, too.

ETA: The cryptic email, I mean.

*sigh* I miss A-town.

Did you see the flash mob video from the Fairfax campus?

No, but I've unfortunately only been to Fairfax campus once (and got lost on a horrible roundabout on the way there).

Sky, yeah, it was sad when they had to leave.

A local campus around here does that as well. I guess it was quite popular, many students showed up.

That's groovy. :bolian:

Although I imagine a lot of students went there hoping to get bitten so they could sue. :rommie:

I'm not ditching work, but I am home sick and down for the count. I fell asleep on the floor yesterday and woke up with one of my dogs lying on top of me. Yeah, she weighs 70 lbs and all, but it was awesome.

I received this email yesterday from my law school. I'm posting it in full:

As a reminder, puppies will be in the atrium tomorrow, Thursday Dec. 1 from 11 AM- 1 PM

Sure, before law school finals, you can enjoy petting the puppies. By the time you get to you bar exam, you'll be figuring out how to sell them for profit. ;)

I think I'd be more likely to find a reason to sue them when they take the puppies away. Suing is more lawyerly than selling for profit. Although if I could fit in hourly billing, that would be nice too.

They're creating a psychological dependency leading, when the puppies are removed, to a) pain and suffering and b) deterioration in performance resulting in a decrease in life-long earnings capacity. That should be worth some decent money right there... ;)

I should print this out and give it to my boss. Productivity may increase at work if we were guaranteed play time with soft, fluffy animals. At the very least, it might help with some anger management issues.
