Interesting Discovery in the Star Wars Essential Atlas

I recently checked out the Star Wars Essential Atlas, published last year, from the library and it actually covers events featured in Clone Wars Season 2 all the way up through the current Mandalorian story arc and retcons Mandalorian history by stating that eventually the Death Watch and its sympathizers eventually wrest control of Mandalore from the "New Mandalorians" such as Duchess Satine and take the world back to its "warrior roots".

The amount of childish outrage and hair pulling displayed by a certain Star Wars author over this was hilarious in a bad sort of way.

I assume you're referring to Traviss and her Mandalorian "Fett-ish"?

I enjoyed the LOTF series EXCEPT for the two latter books she penned ("Bloodlines" was fine since the Fett story intersected with the other events in the story) because she took up WAY too much of the books with unrelated Fett material that could've been better spent on the main storyline of the series, which was, of course the Civil War between the Galactic Alliance and the Confederacy, as well as the characters involved.
I would've liked it a whole lot better if she had just wrote some separate Fett novellas covering her Mando/Fett material from the LOTF books rather than making them such a huge chunk of the actual LOTF novels.
