Inter-Series Themes

If you were to pick an episode from each series and watch the five together because they had a similar theme or something in common, what are some sets you might compile? You could choose Klingon episodes from each series, for instance, or those starring a particular guest-star. There are puzzle shows, of course, and time-travel sets. If you exclude a series or two, you could even have a Nazi set.

Here's an example set:
1. The Observer Effect (Enterprise)
2. The Squire of Gothos (TOS)
3. Q Who? (TNG)
5. The Scientific Method (VOY)

A theme in the above episodes is one I'd call "raging against the heavens": in each, the captain tells off advanced creatures with great (godlike) power. Those are some of my favorites. (I don't know if DS9 has a similar episode: if so, I can't remember any outside the Q episode.

Anyway, what are some sets you might assemble?

1. Shockwave (ENT)
2. City On The Edge Of Forever (TOS)
3. Times Arrow (TNG)
4. Past Tense (DS9)

"The Romulan Saga"
1. United (ENT)
2. Balance Of Terror (TOS)
3. Face Of The Enemy (TNG)
4. In The Pale Moonlight (DS9)
5. Eye Of The Needle (VOY)

ENT: Singularity
TOS: The Naked Time

Virus/radiation causes main characters to become obsessive/lose inhibitions as a way for the audience to learn more about their personalities/desires.
