Inspired By The Lost Book Club?

As we all know, Sawyer and some other characters love to read...and the producers of the show have talked about the books they've included in the show. Have you read a book because it was shown on Lost?
I just bought The Brothers Karamazov and The Stand for this reason. The King book I bought because the producers said it was an influence on the show, but it wasn't in any episode that I recall.

I read "The Third Policeman" some years ago.

It was shown in the beginning of Season 2 I think.
