Insomniacs, man your stations!

Well, after a whole week of going to bed and waking up at normal human hours, my insomnia is back! I knew it would be. It always comes back.

It just sucks because I have gotten used to waking up to the sound of my coffee maker at 7am, and now 7am is going to come, and I am going to feel like death.

It doesn't help that my mind is completely preoccupied right now. I have a month to find a place to live out in the Quad Cities so that I can get back to my old job and start making money again before I go completely broke. It's so hard to house hunt when you live 2 hours away!

Yep. I am up as well. I haven't slept all week though and was half expecting to finally crash today. I guess not.

But I usually get like this when I am worried too. Business has been slow and I am still looking for a second job. Money is getting very tight and I am obsessive compulsive. I hate paying my bills late. It makes me freak out.

I don't get insomnia, but I do pull multiple consecutive accidental all-nighters from watching crap on YouTube until it gets light. Am I welcome in this thread?

Hang in there, bud. You had the guts to get this far.

I'm with ya on the bills, AstroSmurf. I got to a point last week where I had to sign up for another credit card because I just don't have enough cash coming in right to pay all my bills.

I'd like to declare myself welcome in this thread too, as I instantly send anyone to sleep as soon as I start talking.

I should be available on prescription. :bolian:

Ugh, my living situation just got even more awkward.

A friend of mine wanted to rent me her house. Problem: her house sucks balls, and there's no way I could live there for how much she was asking. However, she seems to be under the impression that I am definitely renting it, and she's already making plans to do things with the extra money from my rent.

She's been paying a mortgage on this house for 2 years even though she hasn't been able to live there. She's so excited to finally be making some money back on it!

Now I have to break the news to her that I am not moving in. She's going to be so upset. It might destroy her soul.

No insomnia here, I am just a night person. Usually never go to sleep before 4 or 5. The other day I got to sleep at 7. I would be just fine with it if only the rest of the world went along with it. Ironically tonight I am going to bed early. Doc gave me a new med to try on those nights I absolutely have to go to sleep early so I am giving it a test drive tonight.

It's seriously one of the worst houses I've ever seen. Two of the three bedrooms are roughly the size of my walk-in closet. The upstairs bedroom's closet is actually a crawl space with a dowel rod running through it. And when she showed me the house, the carpet was covered with dead bugs because the outside door has a 1/2 inch gap between the bottom of it and the floor. I wouldn't live in there for free.

So you are going bak to your old job? You were bartending at TGIF right? Did the new job not work out?

Yeah, that's what I'm doing, plus I will likely be taking on some managerial duties as well. The new job fucking sucks. I have been lucky to make about $50 a week. I basically have enough money left to move back, and that's it.

Oh, I am sorry to here that. At least you know your old job is happy to have you back after all those times they pleaded with you to come work.

Oh yeah. I might not be full-time right away when I get back since all of my old shifts are currently being covered by other people, but I don't think it'll take long to get back to where I was. They like me more than the other people anyway.

My part time job is like that. I finally got to the point that I couldn't afford the gas to go down there.
