So, Rogue squadron is currently "Indefinitely" postponed, looks like waiting to clear the directors plate before starting on it ( And how this wasn't known a year ago??)

So, From the rumor mill, the 2023 date is still in the running, so. What movie do you all think will get the green light?

• Also meant to say, this friday is suppose to be announcements of Disney stuff, so we may get a "what the next movie is" announcement.. maybe, alot of the movie and some of the tv stuff have been vaporware, in the vein of Duke Nukem 3d!

I doubt any of them would like the idea of having only 2 years to put something out when they thought they had more time to make something grander.
As much as I hate to say it I think forget about 2023 and wait until 2025 which is probably Taika's movie? It can't be 2024 since that's an Avatar release. Mid 2024 is still giving them less time to rush out a movie.
No way do I want the busiest man around, Feige, to be pushed to get a movie out.

I'm thinking if we do get one then, it will be Rian Johnson's since that was the earliest announcement, and he should be done with Knives Out 2 soon enough to get to work on Star Wars.

That's Disney+ Day, so I have a feeling it will only be for stuff coming there, and we probably won't see anything for the theatrical movies.

I would have thought we'd see a more positive reaction to this news. I know people weren't real happy with Lost, but I was under the impression that most people really liked The Leftovers and Watchmen.
