So...after an injury to both knees, operations on both knees and a protracted stay in the hospital and Death's Waiting Room (ie rehab/phys.therapy place filled with old people) I was deprived of access to my computers and therefore access to my daily internet addictions, including the BBS here. (Yes, I know, I could have participated via smartphone, but I like typing on actual keyboards, not that dinky little display at the bottom of my galaxy five screen.) Included in my lack of regular internet activity is the regular posting of the Car of the Week. Well, now that I have access to computers with actual keyboards again I can resume those postings...but the question is should I?

That's the question you get to answer. Have you missed the Car of the Week and anxious to see it return? Do you think the concept has run its course and we should move on or just stand down? Or, are you supremely indifferent to the entire concept? However you feel, cast the appropriate vote in the poll.

I liked the car of the week. Sorry to hear about the injury, hope your recovery is going well.

Sorry about your ordeal.

If you are up to posting cars again, that would be great.

Glad you're recovering, Admiral2, and look forward to your comments on The Last Ship this summer. :)

Myself, I'd vote for an 80s/New Wave Song of the Week series - I've even had idle thoughts about starting it myself - as cars don't much appeal to me unless someone is handing me the keys and pink slip to one. (Or maybe a One-Hit Wonder Song of the Week?) But I haven't done so, obviously, and to each their own. :bolian:

Thank you for the feedback and the well wishes, everybody. I've recovered enough that I'm up to walking with a cane now. I'm not up to doing all the activity I'm used to, but I'm also back to work, which is a definite plus (and also a minus in some ways :))

I will try to pick up CotW where I left off as soon as I can. And Gaith, keep your idea in mind. If we do a contest at the end and you win you can choose that as the next OTW.
