Infamous 2

^The ball lightening is just the first one, you get zappy lightning later.

Ooh, I love the Ionic Vortex. That thing is awesome.
Does anyone know where I put in the code to get the special pre-order download from Gamestop? I have the code, but when I was playing yesterday I couldn't find anywhere to put it in.

On the XMB go to account management, the square smiley with the pencil...
Select it and there should be a submenu choice called redeem code...
Select it and enter the code...
The paper with the code should have instructions for it as well, but those usually send you trhough the PSN Store...

You can enter it through the store too.

And inFAMOUS 2 is a PS3 exclusive.
I got it earlier today, thanks for the help!:techman:

Do you get any benefit for having finished the first game and having the data from it?

Yes, though it looks at your trophys, so now worries if you deleted the savegame...

Finished the game on any difficulty: 1,000 starting XP
Have obtained a Good or Evil Trophy: Start with level 1 good or bad karma
Have found 25 percent of the blast shards: Energy core (health bar segment)
Have found 50 percent of the blast shards: Two energy cores
Certain unspecified "decisions" also result in changes in side missions, Dead Drops and dialogue

Thanks for that Rincewiend.

As I was zipping around this weekend blast shard hunting with the lightning tether, it occurred to me that with a little tweaking, the game mechanics could made into a decent Spiderman game. Or said another way, I wish the few Spiderman games I've played in the past, had been a lot more like this game, mechanics wise that is.

I just finished the game, and I loved it. I just can't believe how the Good story ended.

Also just finished the game. Mid to late game seemed to drag due to the repetitive nature of the missions.
