Incomplete Episodes

Can any of you recall episodes from any of the series that you consider incomplete?
"Conspiracy", from the first season of TNG is one episode I consider incomplete!
What do you think?

I agree there should have neen a follow up to "Conspiracy."

There is another Next Generation episode...and I can't recall the title at the moment. It was a spoof of contemporary alien abduction lore. Riker was kidnapped off the ship in his sleep and experimented upon by aliens, and then was put back in his quarters afterwards. The crew discovers that aliens from sub space (if I remember correctly) are responsible, and the aliens send a probe (or something) into normal space at the end. Neither the creatures nor their motivations are identified. This episode seemed ripe for a follow up, unless the producers intended to leave the questions unanswered.

Tom Riker from "Second Chances" and "Defiant". His character was practically begging for one last episode to wrap him up.

IIRC, that Riker episode was "Schisms." Also, the DS9R (both in "The Lives of Dax" anthology and some of the books following) continues the Conspiracy parasite storyline.

I really would've loved to see Tom Riker's story picked up.

Seconded. How much I would have loved to see Tom return. That was a very good character who fit into DS9 just nicely. ;)

voyagers endgame didnt really feel complete. it would have been nice to have maybe one episode on how they coped once back home especially seven of nine.

Exactly! Endgame should have used the same formula as "What you leave behind" >> Act I - Climax, Act II - Aftermath.

I'm sure Schisms had a comic follow up. Something to do with a redshirt who died in the episode. I think his sister tries to get revenge on the aliens. Though I think the ep was better left as a one off.

As for the Conspiracy/parasite thing, I was never keen on the book explanation. It seemed too 'easy'.

With Endgame, I feel the same way. I wasn't keen on the episode anyway, but I always felt they were missing an opportunity not having at least a series on Earth. It would have revived the story which, for me anyway, had got a little stale and given some extra drama for the Maquis, Seven, the Doctor... where would they all go from there?

I'd have liked a shakeup in format. But ending on the shot of Earth was probably one of the best ways to leave it if they had no intention of explaining any of that (or perhaps no idea?).

Practically any episode from TOS where the crew goes in and changes the present society: A Piece of the Action, The Nazi Planet, Omega Glory, especially a Taste of Armageddon, etc. I know that books have explained the aftermath of some of these societies but I would have liked to see how the show dealt with them.
