Was the Wille Mays baseball card that Jake and Nog accuired in the Ep "In the Cards" ever show in any other DS-9 Eps??

Theres the shot on the PADD and a clear shot during the auction, if I remember. I'm pretty sure theres a moment where it's seen as Quark's helper monkey displays all the items in the trunk.

edit - just re-read the first post. Shouldn't reply when too ill to pay attention :|

Not just the hug, but everything else going on and the simultaneous narration at the end of the episode gave it what I consider one of the best endings in all of DS9. The episode wasn't perfect, but those final moments sure were! :techman:

It would have been great if it had. I mean the baseball turned out to be a fixture of the desk, and the Dramatis Personae clock was still there so it would have been cool.

And you're right, in the Ep "Little Green Men" on the way to Earth, Nog is looking at this PADD and finds the Pic that the media of the day used the picture that Sisko posed at Gabiral Bell. The Ep that this situtaion was a two parter in season Three called "Past Tense" be sure to check it out it's a different and very coold Ep...

It actually makes sense that Sisko didn't have it on display on the desk all the time like his baseball, given how rare and old it was. It's like someone having a 40 year old classic automobile and not leaving it out in the driveway, but preferring to keep it in the garage where he'd probably just stare at and/or wash it lovingly once in awhile.

I imagine it would be the same with a hundreds of years old baseball card...Sisko would probably keep it locked up tight somewhere, and just take it out to gaze upon it adoringly and/or gently stroke it occasionally - nothing more. :p

Nope.

...just say'en that was one of my top 10 DS9 episodes.

No doubt. I was already loving the episode, but Jake's convoluted explanation to Weyoun just put it over the top as one of my favs.

I know...that was HILARIOUS!

You know, I've always wondered something, about this episode: how Jake got out of trouble over his "I was drunk" lie, and the whole incident with Winn.

Maybe it's just me...but for some reason, I think given the unusual benevolence everybody showed during the episode, that it may actually have been Weyoun that explained things to Sisko! (And thus got Jake out of the doghouse.) Which of course is quite ironic considering that at the same time, Weyoun is surely working on ways to take over DS9, but it would fit both his kiss-ass character and the plot.
