I'm the scrambler!

So what do you like in your eggs?

Some people only like plain scrambled eggs, while others like all kinds of different stuff.

First, while still liquid, I like to put in some seasoned salt or adobo seasoning, sometimes a little dill weed, or whatever strikes me from the spice rack.

But as far as the chunkies go, I like mushrooms, maybe some light sausage, onions, sweet bell chillis (they're not 'peppers'), maybe even zuchinni.

Anyway, how do you take your scrambled eggs?

I cut up and fry a fresh bell pepper before tossing in the eggs. Afterwards I mix it all up with feta cheese. I use what I have left of the fresh peppers for the salad. Inconceivable without bread and ayran (a sort of buttermilk) on the side, as well.

My mother likes to put bread crust in the eggs.

I think that just makes for warm, soggy bread :(

I like scrambled eggs, though fried eggs are real good too. (Over... "medium", I guess. I don't like the yolk all runny and nearly raw.)

Scrambled eggs I'll usually throw in some bacon and/or chives.

In omelettes (did I spell that right?) either some pepper cheese or ham and cheddar.

Best of all is a fried egg sandwich (over hard) on toast with mayo, bacon and lettuce. Heavenly!

Hmmm...why do I get the feeling I'll be going out to buy some eggs on the way home today?

I don't think I've ever scrambled eggs without it being for some special use; i.e. a slice of it as part of the garnish on a piece of rye w. ham or smoked salmon, and then I only season with a bit of salt and pepper (but I do like the salt and pepper to be the good stuff though)

Whenever I add more stuff to eggs I prefer them as an omelette.

I cut up small bits of bologna and put them in...normally I hate bologna, it's nasty, but for some reason it tastes great in scrambled eggs. It's a habit I've had since childhood, when my mom had to find creative ways to get me to eat anything. I am very picky.

I still think the taste of bologna and hot dogs are so similar, it's the same ingredients in different diameter casings.

Sometimes I'll leave the yokes intact, but sometimes I'll stir the eggs up with a little milk to make them a little fluffier. I'll usually use the dripping from bacon for flavoring (usually contributes some saltiness too). I'll grind a little black pepper over the eggs at the table. The aroma of grinding the pepper is as good as the flavor it adds to the food.

When I have scrambled eggs, it's just plain old scrambled eggs; I do like a lot of stuff in my omelets, though.

Mostly I eat fried eggs. I always have one sunny side up, and the other over hard.

I prefer my scrambled eggs plain, with a dash of salt and pepper while still liquid. Served with buttered toast.

I love eggs in general, and tend to eat a lot of them.

For fried eggs, done once over easy (flipped but yolk still runny), tastes best when fried in bacon fat.

I just made deviled eggs the other day. They make an awesome sandwich in addition to being good at picnics.

Eggs may well be my favorite food item.

I like 'em plain scrambled
served like so:

on 12 grain bread(toasted) with cheese and hot sauce :D

A little salt and pepper is enough for me. Sometimes I have ketchup and tabasco on the side.

Scrambled, or made into an omelet of some kind.

I ought to try to make an omelet at home, the restaurant omelets are always on the greasy/oily side.

With lox, green onions and cream cheese. And maybe a little Cholula sauce on top.

Actually, any number of things are good scrambled in eggs, from something as simple as adding a bit of diced ham or bacon to something involving chicken, Italian fennel sausage, onions, red bell and jalapeño peppers, cilantro, fresh garlic, sliced black olives and spinach. Heck, melt a slice of Swiss cheese on top, while you're at it. :)
