When you discover the rich complexity in characters, plots, philosophy and intelligent ethical/moral dilemmas portrayed ...resistance will be futile.[/QUOTE]

thats not what im asking

so, anyway how do i not become a reboot hater myself?
Just don't. Easy as that.

I'm curious, why did the SNL sketch make you feel like that? The film hadn't even come out yet and had the chance to "capture your imagination", so what difference did it make that someone might not like it?

because that skit instantly crapped on my excitement, i had this notion like "holy crap i wanna see that, trekkers must be shitting their pants" and then this came on, its the equivalent of 50 kicks in the sack, my perspective on the star trek fandom was badly altered as well

Maybe you should just like what you like and ignore what other people think. It's a lot easier.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy your chrono-watch.

You should like what you like. Why do you give a shit what other people think?

Has anyone actually watched Pegasus then These are the voyages right after? Is it hilarious? Does it seem like Riker has just had a thousand puddings prior to walking into the holodeck?

You're correct. He'd been smoking that strange plant from the arboretum and gotten hungry. I bet even Beverley would have been powerless to control his soaring blood-sugar levels, which could explain his atrophied skin elasticity and loss of hair pigmentation.

'chrono-watch' i like that, sounds like a chrono-trigger bootleg

Looks like you're still learning the quote function...

;)

All you need to do is hit the Quote button and type underneath. You can avoid multiple consecutive posts that way.

Also, statements like "people with taht attitude are not allowed on this post" are not okay. If someone is actually flaming or trolling we'll take care of it.

Thanks, and enjoy the board.

you right

Judging from your Reddit post, you seem to be upset that people aren't liking the things that you like. You even mention that you're going to track someone on the Internet who dislikes NuTrek so you can "give him a piece of [your] mind".

Why don't you watch the rest of Trek and form your own opinion? It might make you dislike NuTrek. It might change nothing. Either way, it's important that you decide on your own rather than trying to conform with the group whom you've already decided must be 'correct'.

I don't see the point of forcing yourself to like something. If you can't be honest with yourself, over a television show of all things, then who can you be honest with?

that gives me an idea, if you check out the chronology list, shows take place sometimes concurrently with each other, ill give a short review of each chunk of a particular show that ive seen, but since im only 10 episodes into 'enterprise' itll be a little while before i post my first one, when i get like 130 episodes into tng, then theyll get more common
