I'm officially doing movie reviews for the local paper, The Anniston Star, starting next month. I've already called 'dibs' on several movies.

It may not pay money, but at least it pays in more experience and exposure, right? And, of course, not having to pay for tickets gives you an incentive to see movies that you might not have thought you'd be able to see in theater at first.

Make sure to keep print copies of the newspaper handy for the future (if you are going to continue in journalism). A portfolio of newspaper clippings that actually saw print is always impressive. in fact its essential.
