I'm a doctor, not a...

Actually, the comments on youtube itself pointed out the lack of Bones, and the fact that including all of his 'I'm a doctor...' statements would have made this video many times longer. I like the EMH though, he's one of my favourite characters from Voyager.

I think that was somewhat deliberate - showing that it's become sort of like "I have a bad feeling about this..." in Star Wars.

Number of times Pulaski aped McCoy: 0 times
Number of times Bashir aped McCoy: 2 times
Number of times EMH aped McCoy: 8675309 times

Awesome video clip, it helps prove Pulaski was never a McCoy clone. Though having said that, that doesn't mean Picardo put his stamp on the catchphrase.

None of the doctors were McCoy clones and you’ll hardly determine character by counting instances of what is probably a joke predating McCoy.

Technically, the EMH included McCoy's personality in its programming, among many others, so utilizing some of his vernacular makes sense. Zimmerman may have worked with McCoy in the early years developing the hologram.

I’m saying it’s probably not specific to McCoy because prequel writers would find a call-forward irresistible (as seen from the variation given to Phlox).

I think McCoy only actually says it this way a few times, but he says "I'm a doctor" in other variations many times.
