If it's, like, the ability to change traffic lights to whatever colour I wanted, then I doubt I could be a government super agent. I probably couldn't market that to become a celebrity either. I guess all I could do is show up to work on time now.

I would go to Hollywood but not to be a celebrity (they're clowns). Instead I will hit the corporate suites and make everyone shape the fuck up. I am sick of George Lucas screwing up Star Wars, Tim Kring screwing up Heroes, etc etc. Kick all those cops shows and reality crap off the air and bring back the space opera genre.

Most super powers are useless if you want to be a 'hero':
Will you listen to police radio and run, trying to catch the thief with your telekinesis/pyrokinesis?

If you go to the government, it's quite likely that a cigarette smoking man will put you in a cell and play dr Mengele with you, in order to see how you tick.
Either that, or you'll essentially become a killer working for the government.

Sadly, the only situation when physical powers come in handy would be if you want to rob a bank, etc - villain mode.
