If you could make one trek novel canon which would you choose?

I would want Destiny Book 2 to become canon.

It's not particularly better than books one or three, but the infighting lively debates it would cause between fans of the show putting their theories out there of what prompted the invasion or how it would end because neither of those events would be canon in this scenario would make my trolly little heart smile.

And it would make Elias Vaughn canon and that would be cool.

I was wondering about which book would explicitly bring the most other stories in by direct reference, but this is a much better idea.

I'd love to see Prime Directive to have become canon as the finale to TOS, obviously it would have to be tweaked a little, but what an ending. Then The Lost Years as a TV movie in the 70s would be wonderful.
