If they do Khan for the next movie how might they end it?

The hibernation mechanism has malfunctioned. Khan is suddenly an old man.
Shatner plays him.
Khan/Shatner gets to fight newKirk. There's an epic battle. Khan/Shatner wins.

See? Its not that hard to get Shat back in the action.

Actually, I hope they show Klingons blowing up the Botany Bay for target practice the way they did that space probe in Star Trek V, as a way of saying "we aren't gonna redo TOS plots".

Really, they shouldn't make a whole movie about the Khan story. Khan's story is very episode-like and I don't think they should turn an episode into a movie. Then suddenly you've got people guessing the plots to movies Star Trek XII-LXXXIX... Also, it deserves to be split in two, the "space seed" and what becomes of the seed. But if they make it a meaningless crazy-non-stop action, then that's all it becomes with no meaningful undertone. The writers of (X)II have their work cut out for them.

But, for the sake of keeping on topic and answering the question, I would want it to end with them being marooned on Ceti Alpha V. Perhaps with that annoying short bean-eating character as a slave laborer.

But the marooning seems awfully similar to what Spock did to Kirk with the escape pod.

Maybe combine Khan & ENT's "Augments" storyline....Khan & company is discovered by Klingons....kills a few and takes over a ship...maybe even inspire a number of Klingons to follow him to Earth to pick up on the conquering that he's missed out on....and guess who's the first ship in the way?...

That is not a bad idea, I do like that.

I too like the idea of Khan teaming up with the Klingons. I think the movie should end a face off between Khan and Marla McGyvers where she says:

"Seriously, you were good in bed and all but you didn't seriously expect a 23rd century woman to fall for that s**t you pulled, did you?" And then she disintegrates him.

And then Kirk shouts, "KHAAAAAAAN!" And then the Enterprise blows the c**p out of any ships nearby. And then everybody laughs to the tune of that cheesy TOS comedy music. Pure gold.

But yeah, seriously, Khan + Klingons is a good idea for movie 3.
