If the Master were properly ressurected in "End of Time"

Mr. Sin

Commander
If Lucy hadn't used her anti-potion, what would've been the Master's plan? I presume he'd still be a darker blonde again, and wouldn't have the see-through look/lightning powers. But what about regeneration? It's established that the Master was dying; and presumabely he was "stuck looking like the old prime minister". Perhaps his plan was to regenerate and then put in a more elaborate plan?

I think should we see the Master again he might have returned to his 'body-snatching' ways, possibly taking over Rassilon using the lightning powers (As I've mentioned in other threads). That would be interesting and would allow Dalton to play the Master.

^ I thought he used the body snatching abilities precisely because he had exhausted his previous regenerations and that when the Time Lord's recruited him for the Time War he was given new regenerations. The Master still was in his Harold Saxon form when he was tossed back into the Time War along with the Time Lords...theoretically that form could still be alive or he could have just regenerated into another body somehow.

The body snatching abilities were part of the Keeper Of Traken powers (I think).

Though, how he took over Tremas' body with Tremas' power, I don't know.

In the Five Doctors, wasn't the Master given a new set of regens?

And in the TVM, the snake-form took over a human body (still the Keeper Of Traken power or something else?)

So with another new set of regens during the Time War, one would wonder if he still had the body snatching thing.

He was promised new regeneration in the Five Doctors but never got them, He some managed to stretch Tremas's body all the way to the classic series last episode, Survival.

I don't think the Master's plan would have differed all that much. He didn't really have a plan upon being resurrected -- it was only once he encountered the Immortality Gate that he hit on the idea of Master-ifying every Human on Earth.

Well he'd probably do the same thing he's done a hundred times. Disguise himself, get his hands on some bit of alien technology (or ally himself with some hostile alien race), and infiltrate the upper levels of some large corperation.

Then sit back and wait for the Doctor to turn up. :)
