Let me be clear.WHO GIVES A KOSST!

Rather than speculating on how a movie that won't be released until May of next year respects/disrespects canon,save all the hateful/vitriol/rants/pontless speculation until AFTER the movie comes out.I can safely assume there will be plenty of opprotunities to comment on the movie here ONCE IT IS OUT!

For all we know Abrams reinforces canon rather than destroying it.Let's reserve judgement,and save all the speculative,moronic,and wasteful negativity for a time that actually matters.

Then why waste your time in here. I mean this is a discussion board... or did I miss a memo changing what it was.

Why do you care if people want to keep the same continuity? Why do you care about people posting about it. Afraid the tide is going to turn on this new version of Star Trek.

Seems to me there shoving the continuity we've known into a corner hoping it will go away.

Have you read the finalized script? Have you SEEN the movie?

If the answer to both questions is no,then you do not know for certain that continuity you value so much is even being 'shoved into a corner'.

I submit that it is quite moronic to judge a movie you haven't seen yet.
