If Dangerman = Danger Mouse, then Prisoner = Prison Mouse.

Dangerman was a show made by the same people as the Prisoner staring Patrick mcGoohan as an unnamed operative who did "stuff". The Prisoner is of course the Prisoner, Patrick McGoohan staring in a show as an ex-operative forced into exile and guard because of trust issues from his mother government.

Danger Mouse? He's the greatest. He's fantastic. Wherever there's danger he'll be there. He's the ace. He's amazing. He's the strongest he's the quickest he's the best. He's terrific. He's magnific. He's the greatest secret agent in the world. Danger Mouse. Power House. He's the fastest he's the greatest he's the best..

But what if the day came for Danger Mouse to hang up his jump suit, but Colonel K didn't believe in the sincerity of his intentions and reasons for retuiring from the never ending battle against Baron Greenback and other evil?

I'm not terribly enjoying the new Prisoner adaptation which I am only half way through.

It wouldn't be a terribly interesting series. Danger Mouse has encountered far more surreal situations than anything the Village cooked up to break Six. And anyone who lives with Penfold could not be driven insane with use of hallucinogenic drugs.

"We want information! Information! Information!"

"You won't get it!"

"By hook or by crook, we will!"

"Oh, crumbs."
