IDW Previews for upcoming comics

^Thanks for posting the link. Mission's End looks good. I wonder if it will contradict what we saw in J.M. Dillard's The Lost Years...

^ No problem

It's probably not going to be consistent with Dillard's novel. But that's the great thing about Trek and why I don't get upset about "canon." There can be many versions of the same event -- for example, how Kirk and Spock met, and how they all came to the Enterprise.

Agreed. There can be separate comic time-lines, novel time-lines, and movie time-lines, and it doesn't matter. As long as the stories are solid, that's all that matters. The recent Last Generation comic shows that Myriad Universe stories are fun and give us something different along with what's familiar.:)

Which is hardly the only previously-established "final mission".

DC Comics did an excellent one for their Series I Annual #2, featuring Will Decker, the introduction of the new uniforms and another journey to Talos IV.
