At the meadowlands in NJ. I have to say it was fun I got to meet J.G., Chase Masterson, and Rene Aber that's all I can spell. I went with my mom step-dad and friend who I converted into Trekdom. However when we were there, me and my friend got drunk at the bar and spent a lot of time in there. I feel like I ruined the experience for my mom because I got too drunk and upset her. I realized I missed out a lot of stuff because I was at the bar and I feel so stupid and ashamed. I feel real terrible about it and am on the verge of tears. Anyone wanna yell at me?

I won't yell but I will make an observation. How old are you?? I ask that because you sound like you're 15 or 16. If older, you acted like you're 15 or 16, something you probably aren't too proud of. If you're thinking either "What was I thinking?" or "It seemed like a good idea at the time," you might be back on track. Good luck. Go apologize to all who endured this.

Nothing wrong with hanging at the bar at a con, you often get to talk with some of the stars informally that way. However, if you've gone out of your way to go to a special event, then spend it drunk at the bar and ignoring the event, you may have a problem you need help with.

Hmmm...I don't ever recall being at a con where they served booze. Perhaps I just wasn't looking for it. I usually participate in the trivia contests and being half-lit isn't condusive to remembering the titles and events in 700+ episodes
