I'm actually really surprised that no one has resurrected Rampage. Imagine Rampage in a 3D environment
Yeah, I can imagine a 3D revamp would look amazing. One where you have freedom to move around in a 3D city and cause chaos.
That would be awesome!
But, I would settle for the regul;ar 80's version on mmy ipad! I just don't where to send my suggestion to.
Also, ever hear of a game called APB? Where it was a comical video game where you are cop and you must have donuts, must please your boss, and you must pull people over?

Just make a detailed description of what the game would be, and who knows! It happened to me on another board where there were a lot of industry people hanging out before it closed down. A few people and I were brainstorming a Star Wars game idea, as a sort of counterpoint to the Jedi Knight games, where you'd play a squad of soldiers working for the Empire. Next thing you know, about 2 years later, LucasArts announces Republic Commando which was pretty much verbatim to the ideas we had talked about. Even the name itself was similar.
My wish has been granted. Midway just made an app with a lot of old arcade games on it... all for 99 cents... including Defender, Spy Hunter and Rampage. You can also but Guantlet and APB. I don't know about you but APB is a hilarious game!
Wasn't there a Hulk game a few years ago that was basically this?
There was a Godzilla one, too, but it wasn't the greatest.
Not exactly Rampage, but War Of The Monsters was quite a lot of fun.

That said... I'm not responding in any kind of mockery at all.. I am sincere... as I don't usually keep up with the latest in gaming.. if I hadn't found it and this thread was on the front page I would have appreciated this link!
I do wish they got rid of the virtual joystick and made the controls a bit easier.
