I want an iPod Touch

If only the ipod Touch could respond to the command: Two to beam up. :(

Just so you know, the transporter doesn't actually beam you anywhere. It creates a clone of you with memories and all, but kills the original. So while you DIE, the clone doesn't know any better. :p

I then went to Walmart and bought the charger/FM tuner thingy (much like the one you have Michael Chris).

What's the charger/FM tuner thingy? Is there an AM tuner?

Um...it's a Griffin (I think that was the brand) car adapter. The package is still in my car, and I can't remember specifically what it was called. I just know that it worked right off the bat.

They had a whole mess of iPod accessories at Walmart.

But if you're anything like me, you may find that all you've got is a very expensive MP3 player, and an acute case of buyer's remorse.
You know, the only cure for buyer's remorse is gifting to random people on the internet.
Hoser, only has a Shuffle.

I signed onto this board to talk canon violations, not to have my atoms scattered back and forth across space by this ipod gadget.

Fiancee has an iPod Touch. They're nice and more than an expensive mp3 player but unless you need or want to use it a lot, it's a waste of money.

We use it on trips mainly, especially since Starbucks are everywhere and she drinks coffee and Starbucks almost always has free wifi so it gets extremely useful if you need to use the internet to get updated information on a roadtrip.

At home it gets less use but you can still take it anywhere in the house and outside with internet access and unlike a laptop, it's not nearly so clunky to use when not near a table. Of course the screen is smaller and it's harder to type and use but generally it's good just to have for casual browsing online or reading an ebook.

I've had it for less than 24 hours, and I've already come up with about a dozen uses for it. This thing is going to come in really handy at work. I downloaded a bunch of free apps with drink recipes and sports highlights so I can keep my guests updated on everything. You have no idea how often bar guests ask me, "Hey, who won the ______ game?" and I never know the answer.

I can't get my gmail to work, though. It says it can't find the server imap?

You can also use your iPod to laser targets for airstrikes. It also doubles for a PKE Meter during paranormal activities.

Once you become an iPod Master, they'll tell you how to use the light saber option.

Is that part of the military package? Interesting. I know they did some pretty good modifications on it for use in the field. That's fascinating.

I bought my 8GB touch off Ebay for 168 dollars. Absolutely love it! I watch "Iron Man" in my free time.

It's even more fun when it's "modified" I remember the day when two other guys were running around the computer lab

"The 2G's been Jailbroken!"

They skipped class to attempt to jailbreak it

The winterboard themes are nice too and "Terminal" is really useful. Shame about no camera though.

I have a Belkin TuneBase FM II, which plugs into the cigarette lighter of my car, and has a gooseneck which runs from the lighter adapter to the Dock Connector adapter. It's FM only, but the bonus of it is that you can press a button in the center of the device, and it will scan all FM frequencies between 88.1 and 107.9 and find an empty frequency, to which you can then tune your car radio.

All that said, I'd much rather have either a tape deck or an AUX-ready stereo.

Good to hear you're enjoying your Touch. ;) I've my 32GB one for about 7 months now and I still totally love it. One of the cool things is being able to view game walkthroughs on it while gaming from my couch. :D The video feature was also very comfortable when I was in the hospital for three days back in march.

^ Why were you in the hospital? Broke the restraining order Yvonne Strahovski has on you again? :p

So what's going on with the Generation 3s that are supposedly coming out in the fall? I guess I could wait until then.

^ Haha, good one. :guffaw:

I actually had a very simple surgery. I had a cyst on my right vocal cord which had to be removed.
