The simple B&W design just kicks ass. The soundtrack CD case is the same. The front cover is just the B&W warping silhouette of the Enterprise with the classically-styled, italicized TREK logo. Simple beauty.

Pretty sure that was one of the non-US movie posters (one sheets, or whatever they're called.)

Same artwork as was used on the German poster and a UK variant one, anyway -- probably promoting the DVD release now?

Yep.

I have all the release posters, and my favourite out of all of them is the silouetted Enterprise warping.

Its simple, classic, its black and white and to the point. Its the Enterprise and STAR TREK on the cover, who needs heads and the battle?


Its the best cover art they couldve chosen.


One wonders how much the Blu Ray insignia gift set will be.
Might have to remortgage and sell a kidney, as well as auctioning off my soul.
EDIT: Just googled it, the gift set is exclusive to Best Buy. The best bit, Paramount Blu Rays are region free, the worst part, they do not ship abroard to non US countries/residences./provinces. DAMN! Why do i have to live in the UK?


Obviously, the Extreme Special Limited Warp-Speed Edition will come with a hologram cover. From the left it willl have the Enterprise sillouette and from the right, it will have Shatner with his middle finger up and wearing an ill fittingly tight and small velour Starfleet uniform from the 60s show.
