I self-published a comic: The Catty Tales of Mr. Weaver

Hi there. As the title says, I've self published a comic book entitled "The Catty Tales of Mr. Weaver." It's a digital only affair at the moment, but enough people are dogging me about making a print-on-demand version that I'm looking into that, too.

As for the plot, I'm going to take what I wrote for the product description:

The Story said:
Did you know there is a secret society of power-hungry cats? No? Well, it is rather secretive. These cats have an ancient prophecy that says one day a man will arrive and lead them onto a glorious revolution! The only problem, however, is that the prophecy seems to point towards a dorky computer teacher -- Mr. Weaver -- who isn’t even qualified to lead a dodge ball team! This unsuspecting man’s life is about to get CAT-apulted into madness! And who knows? The whole world may soon follow!

You don't need a Kindle product to read it -- there's free kindle readers for PC, Mac, I-Products, and Android stuff. The regular edition is $2.99 and there's a deluxe edition with bonus content that's $4.99. It should be available internationally with a more or less equal price in your home currency.

Feel free to either check it out or ignore this post with stone-cold silence.

Congratulations on your publication, and good luck. This is really a great time for independent creators. Most of my friends are independent creators and have done pretty well (some more than others, of course :D).

A little technical feedback: I was not able to download the book to my PC (it says the device is incompatible), but I'm able to see it on my iPhone app.

Thank you. It's always been my dream to make my living off of creative products. Obviously , that's still a long ways away -- but I'm trying, and that's pretty fulfilling.

As for the technical thing: It says they have Kindle reader programs for Windows 8 going back to XP, but not for 10. There's also something called the Kindle Cloud Reader which is supposed to let you read kindle books in your browser. But I can't actually help with technical stuff beyond that, sadly.

No problem for me, since I was able to read it on my iPhone, but I just wanted you to be aware.

It was pretty cute. It kind of made me think of the old "King Of The Cats" folk tale, in a vague way. Keep me updated on future issues and if you decide to publish a print edition. We independent creators have to stick together. :mallory:
