I miss Craig Ferguson

I have to say that some of the most entertaining stuff on TV at the time were those musical openings!!!

When you folk have a chance, cruise through openings for his show on YouTube.

I wonder what he would have to "perform" these days.

And Sid should have his own show, f#^%ing dernit!!

He certainly has a remarkable talent for interviewing, and I honestly can think of very few interviewers who are up to his standard. It took an especially lame duck not to have chemistry with him; nearly every interview I saw him do was entertaining and informative. His interview with Desmond Tutu and the audience-free one with Stephen Fry were both very memorable.

He did a monologue about his Dad passing, which I saw around the time I lost mine. It was pretty moving, and hearing it in an accent that's been part of my life, well, it reached deep. I wished I'd seen more of his show when it was on.

Oh, and he was on drums in a band with Peter Capaldi (Dr Who) on gtr. THAT'S a band I'd like to see. And if they're looking for a bass player... :D

I remember that, it was very touching.

His Doctor Who song was pretty spectacular too -- it really did perfectly explain Who and get at the heart of the show, while being silly and short!

There are literally thousands of his shows on YouTube. A great way to waste away a lazy afternoon.:techman:

His was the only late night talk show I enjoyed. Though I do like James Corden's Carpool Karaoke and The Bold and the Lyrical segments.

He does a daily show on Sirius XM, and it's pretty much a straight revival of his television show. You can find episodes on Reddit.

Yeah, have to say I miss him too. None of the other latest crop of night show hosts really do it for me either. Well, unless you can count Chelsea Handler among them, who I find that be quite brilliant and hard hitting at times.

An interesting sidenote: Craig said on the show that the last time he took LSD, he was chased
through a park by rabid killer ducks with Doctor Who (Capaldi)!!

Wonder if they were saved by the TARDIS... :nyah:
